Well, that was summer. Nothing much to report apart from day to day life, our first summer here and hopefully a lot more to come. The weather was rubbish, with only a few days at the beach, no holiday but we did have visitors to stay which was lovely.
I taught at Pickleberry, did some stuff for Craft Stamper but quickly realised that although I enjoy making the projects I hated the writing so much that it spoiled the whole process for me. After a few articles I decided that I just wasn't interested any more so I emailed the editor and let her know. I haven't had the slightest regret, I love my classes and workshops for Kate, they are always well attended by lovely ladies and although she does have to nag me occasionally I don't dread the deadlines.
I'm not going to do a huge catch up post, I'll probably post stuff as and when I remember what happened!
For now, just lots of photos...
A printers tray I made in steam punk style
I made a travel album with photos of our trip to the flea market in Lille last year, this is the cover, the rest of the photos are in my album
I made some canvases
and even a scrapbook page!
Alexander was home from university, he and Helene were both working most of the summer so we didn't see much of them
Amelia Poppy came to stay, I made her a play house from a fruit crate and a tablecloth
Georgina had her 14th birthday and asked for ferrets!
Dixie & Dodger.
OMG, my neice just turned 15 and is desparate for ferrets!!
I hope you will consider the odd article in print, I love lokking at your projects, particularly when broken down into steps.

Sad that you won't be in CS any more. I was so pleased to see your work in it, as I was a huge admirer of the amazing stuff you made for Scrapbook Inspirations (still miss that mag!). The ferrets are adorable, btw!

Gorgeous projects. All of the layering and fussy cutting on the steampunk piece are amazing. The canvases are so fun and full of color. The layout is just precious. Your photography is just excellent. You are one talented lady! Thanks for sharing.
