We had a telephone call on Monday morning but I wanted to wait for this to arrive so that I could post it here
Apologies for the rubbish reproduction but I don't have a scanner and had to try to photograph it inside. Still, you can see what it is! The next stage is waiting for exam results on 23rd August, please keep your fingers crossed. Needless to say we are very very proud of him. Steve called at the jewellers on his way home from work on Monday to buy a gift to congratulate Alexander. He loves watches and was delighted with this one, it has a stopwatch, alarm etc so that he can use it for training but at the same time it is smart enough for dress wear. Hopefully, the titanium construction will prove tough enough but we took out extra insurance just in case!
Yesterday I discovered that another of my friends (yes - I do have more than one!) is also a Momiji Momma, Cheryl & Tracie both have several, I am not alone! I was jealous that I only owned one and seeing as I don't have any occasions where somebody might buy me one and I have had an emotional couple of weeks waiting for Alexander's selection decision I thought I deserved a treat (or two). I chose the Rainbow Momiji because I am lucky enough to have a rainbow filled life and Luckiness Momiji for Alexander's selection.
We have a full day planned today, full of domestic chores. We are off to Disneyland Paris early tomorrow for the day to celebrate Georgina's 10th birthday and have two extras to stay tonight.
Yay - another big "congratulations" to Alex, and to his proud Mum!
