On Saturday I went down to Pickleberry for the first time to take a class rather than teach it. As soon as I saw Julie's Halloween project I wanted to make it, even though I don't 'do' Halloween. I wish we followed the UK tradition of making a Guy and wheeling him around the village in a wheelbarrow or old pram to collect money to buy fireworks for Guy Fawkes night.
I had a great day with lovely company and thoroughly enjoyed making all of the elements to go inside my alterations box. Julie always adds so much detail to eveything she makes, I really wish I had her patience. She's making a similar Christmas project soon and I'll be sure to do that one too.
Thanks Julie :)
It is amazing! The detail is wonderful. I will be looking out for the Christmas project... x

Hi Jane. I can see why you wanted to do the class... looks like you had loads of fun. Just the other day Hubby and I were talking about 'whatever happened to making a Guy Fawkes' penny for the Guy and all that. It's our tradition and we should be proud of it!! Think we've been Americanized, if that is even a word.
Hugs
