I splurged on stash shopping for the past couple of weeks, lots of Creative Imaginations, Queen & Co embellishments and the new Love Elsie lines. I convinced myself I wasn't going to buy them, I hadn't really paid much attention to them and the hype put me off a bit, I hate the 'emperors new clothes' syndrome where everyone rushes to buy stuff because it's the new 'thing' whether they like it or not. Then I saw that one of the UKS sponsors had it in stock and looked - there was no turning back! I bought most of the Roxy and Betty lines and started scrapping as soon as they arrived, mixing them with some of my Creative Imaginations embellishments, I love all of it. My layout is for the magazine so I can't share here but I did edit a couple of sneaky peeks.

Cheryl has been uploading new photos onto her blog from the course she is running, Clare's is a fab shot of the Angel of the North (the rustyfairy) and there are loads of others. I hope to get my new camera soon and CJ has promised to take me out for the day for lessons.
Alex has gone with Sam to see the first ever England match at the new Wembley Stadium, they play Brazil tonight, with Beckham and Owen on the team they will enjoy watching. Georgie is out at the park with some friends in the sunshine and I have lots more scrapping to do.
OOooh! I have been putting off buying these papers too but I absolutely love the Roxie line, I can think of so many layouts to do with those and they would be great mini book material. Ho hum, it's my birthday on Monday so you never know what the birthday fairy will bring...

I thought Beckham plays for the US now? Or did he just buy a house here in the States? I love the colours and textures in your layouts.
