dare's up

I love saying that, I get excited when Fridays come around and the dare layouts are uploaded to the blog I know, it doesn't take much does it?
This week would have been a challenge to sort out "an interview with" for a layout but I had already planned to record my "Spotlight on a Designer" interview with Scrapscene so at least I had an idea to start with. Cheryl took this photograph of me in her studio It's better than it looks, photographing a photo then reducing the size of the file for t'internet has made it blurry (which hides a few of my wrinkles)

The accents are cut from a sheet of Sandylion paper I bought in the Scrapbook Shop last weekend, I was going to use it as a background but too much pretty stuff was covered up. I nearly didn't use a crown in case people thought I was being a 'diva', but then it's fun, I like it and if somebody else doesn't - tough! It's MY layout!
Georgina and I met Alexander after school today, she is better from her cold, he had detention for forgetting homework (can't think where that trait comes from!). We had a snack and they went to shop for a Troll bead each to give me for Mother's day, I can't wait to see what they chose!
