Biography
I live in a small village surrounded by fruit orchards and overlooking the sea near Canterbury in Kent, UK with my family, 350 miles away from my native Durham in the North East of England. After a short career in banking then as a police officer I now work part time in our village primary school.
I discovered scrapbooking in 1999 and I work as a design team member for Future Publishing on their ScrapBook Inspirations and Papercraft Inspirations magazines. I teach occasionally but try to limit my time spent away from home in favour of a quality family life. I love playing with and learning about mixed media with a view to creating altered art projects and journals. I escape to the outdoors for geocaching and to the beach at every available opportunity. I can't imagine ever living away from the sea.
